Our teachers know their students and work with them to help them realise their potential as learners. Our focus on authentic learning and authentic assessment ensures that we challenge our students to grow in their learning and achieve their personal best.
Throughout our community of Sydney Catholic schools, we have shown high performance of our students in measures such as NAPLAN and the HSC.
At Galilee Catholic Primary School Bondi, we provide students with explicit teaching a rich learning experiences. Staff know their students well and are able to maximise learning opportunities. With this in mind, Galilee has continued to shine in all areas of growth, which is evident in our NAPLAN results.
Galilee has been recognised in The Daily Telegraph’s Top 100 Private Primary Schools list for NSW and the ACT, ranking #23 in the independently compiled 2025 analysis. The recognition reflects the school’s commitment to providing a personalised learning environment where every child is known, supported and encouraged to achieve their potential.
Assessment is a critical aspect of learning at Galilee: it is a key tool in challenging students and measuring their success. Some of the assessments are: NAPLAN, ICAS, PAT (Progressive Achievement Assessment), Year 6 Religious Education Test, and classroom-based assessment including clinical interviews, running records and writing analysis.
We also like to acknowledge students’ achievements, which are celebrated during our assemblies.
